The Metzger Law Group understands that victims of toxic injuries need financial and legal help. The firm does everything that it legally can to help its clients legally and financially. All cases that the firm accepts are litigated on a contingency basis.

Clients don't have to pay attorney's fees or any litigation costs unless and until the firm wins or settles the case for the client's benefit with the client's consent. The firm receives a percentage of the client's recovery as its fee. Clients are not requested to advance to the firm costs of litigating their cases. Clients don't pay the firm any money "up front."

The firm has also helps clients secure needed medical care, including obtaining bone marrow and other organ transplants. If a medical insurer denies the client an organ transplant recommended by the client's physician, the firm will sue to force the insurer to provide such life-saving medical treatment to the client.

The law has limits on the amount of time after a patient incurs an injury to file a law suit. The amount of time varies based the state in which the patient files the suit as well as liability theory.

Do You Have a Case?

We will evaluate your potential case at no charge and let you know whether you have a viable case. If you have a viable case which can be brought in California, we will be represent you provided that our current case load allows us to take on new cases.

If your case cannot be brought in California or we must decline to represent you for other reasons, we will attempt to find a competent attorney in your area to represent you.

If you have an injury or disease resulting from occupational exposure to toxic chemicals, you may have more than one case: you may have a workers' compensation claim against your employer and a toxic tort (products liability) claim against the manufacturers and distributors of the chemicals that caused your injury. We only litigate toxic tort cases; we do not handle workers' compensation claims. However, if we accept your case, we will refer you to a competent workers' compensation attorney who will work cooperatively with us so that you receive the best representation for both your toxic tort case and your workers' compensation claim.
