Cancer and Benzene In Soda

Here is another substantial benzene-induced cancer hazard for our children. Many popular soft drinks mix ascorbic acid (vitamin C) and either sodium benzoate or potassium benzoate together which forms benzene. The worse part is that the FDA has known for more than 15 years and has been just waiting for the industry to voluntarily change their formulas. Yeah right!
